Responsibilities 

Taking part and assisting the team in:

  • The research related to the statelessness situation in North Lebanon, in Akkar specifically.
  • Field visits and activities such as meetings with local leaders and public officials.
  • Briefing and debriefing sessions to further organize the action plan and adapt it to any changes of situation.
  • Any other task as agreed within the Project Manager.

The internship is based in Beirut and will require field visits to North Lebanon.

Qualifications 

  • Undergraduate degree in social sciences (such as social work, political science, law, anthropology, etc.); completed or ongoing.
  • Fluency in English and Arabic.
  • Good understanding of qualitative and quantitative methodology.
  • Good research skills and ethics.
  • Out of the box thinker, motivated by contributing to change in Lebanon, and taking initiative within the team.
