Fudraising And Development Officer

The incumbent is responsible of assisting the Fundraising Coordinator in implementing the fundraising strategy and in seeking out, researching and securing new funding stream. Operational: Identifying potential new funders with which Skoun should build relationships with Create new innovative ideas to generate increased funding from existing sources Conduct prospect research to support the attainment of targets including: sponsorship, corporate giving and individual participation programs Identify and suggest potential funding opportunities for Skoun Assist the Fundraising Coordinator in developing a program of fundraising and networking events Assist the Fundraising Coordinator during annual fundraising events Implement plans for cultivation and solicitation of donors Prepare communication materials related to Fundraising, when required Liaise with Marketing and Communications Officer and PR agency for profile-raising events Update the database of donors Research for Call for Proposals related to Skoun initiatives Assist the Fundraising Coordinator in developing funding proposals for projects that could attract new funding Establish links with other voluntary bodies Stay informed of developments in fundraising and identify new opportunities for income generation Actively contribute to social media communication regarding fundraising intitiatives
