Prevention Project Coordinator

In a project titled "Improving mental health and well-being of people living in Lebanon", a consortium of six organizations, including Médecins du Monde (MdM), Skoun, Abaad, Amel, Embrace and Humanity and Inclusion (HI), supported by the Agence Francaise de Development (AFD), aims to improve the opportunities for individuals living in Lebanon to enjoy the best possible mental health and wellbeing. The consortium aims to reach its objective through the development of a community-based Mental Health and Psychosocial Support (MHPSS) and Substance Use (SU) system offering appropriate, quality and inclusive services to all people living in Lebanon, particularly the most vulnerable groups and people at risk. The specific activities of the project target the different levels of the social ecological model with activities designed and aimed at the individual, interpersonal, organizational, community and public policy level. One of the many outputs of the project is " A network of champion schools on MHPSS and substance use benefit from and implement a set of awareness and prevention initiatives". 

Scope of Work
The candidate is expected to:
- Coordinate with local stakeholders, and schools for the implementation of drug prevention programs.
- Recruit schools for the implementation of drug prevention programs.
- Coordinate and monitor the implementation of drug prevention programs in schools.

- Attend training workshops organized by Skoun.
- Provide support and constant follow up with schools implementing drug prevention programs.
- Ensure the effective implementation of the programs through regular meetings with concerned parties.
- Coordinate with Project Consultants the development of prevention online program and production of video tutorials.
- Contribute to the development of educational and information materials.
- Conduct data collection.
- Prepare regular reports for Skoun Manager on the work progress and implemented activities.

Criteria of selection / Minimum qualifications and professional experience:
Technical skills and qualifications
- University degree in Public Health.
- About 2 years of related experience, preferably in schools.
- Experience working with NGOs / CSOs
- Communication skills
- Teamwork
- Time Management
- Presentation Skills
- Respect of diversity
- Experience in classroom management
