Senior Fundraiser

Job Summary: The incumbent is responsible for developing and implementing fundraising strategies to increase the financial resources of Skoun by using all relevant and appropriate fundraising techniques together with ensuring an appropriate communications plan is in place. Strategic: Contribute towards the formulation of fundraising and communication strategies, budgets, annual business plans, policies and pocedures of the department to support departmental and organiational business strategy Ensure that the fundraising and communication plans are within the agreed budget and timesscales. Provide timely, accurate reports to the director on the financial and operational progress of these Help build Skoun's fundraising capacity and effectiveness through leading the responsibility of implementing and developing key aspects of the Skoun's income generation strategy, including raising funds and managing relationships with major donors and corporates Operational: Research, cultivate and maintain Skoun's relationships with current and future high net worth individuals and corporate donors. Identify potential new funders with whom Skoun can build relationships  Create new innovative ideas to increase and diversify funding from existing and new sources.  Meet with event planners/organizers and volonteer fundraisers to develop and implement an events program, including maintaining the standard of Skoun's annual Gala event Develop communication and marketing materials related to fundraising and liaise with design studios and printers Represent Skoun in meetings and events when required  Support the director in establishing a fundraising culture amongst board and Skoun's staff Stay informed of developments in fundraising and identify new opportunities for income generation in line with Skoun's mission and values
