Share The Madness: A Social Media Barcamp For Lebanese Civil Society

Calling all campaigners with a cause! Are you still wondering how to get started with social media and which tool is right for your cause or organization? To help newcomers get a grasp on these powerful tools, the inaugural MADskills class, in collaboration with more than a dozen civil society partners, will host Share the MADness: A Social Media BarCamp for Lebanese Civil Society, on Saturday, December 17. During the daylong camp, participants can choose from more than two dozen sessions on social media tools and tactics and how to use them for social change. So far, suggested sessions include: Online branding Online security Online harassment and violence against women Starting a blog Digital photography for beginners Freedom of E-Expression You can even suggest a topic or volunteer to give a session of your own.
