Online Course Content Manager

Social Media Exchange is seeking an online course content manager to provide support in the development, implementation, and monitoring of online course offerings on our learning platform NetHawwal.com. As the online course content manager, you will work closely with SMEX principals to create exceptional learning opportunities for a diverse range of audiences in Arabic and English. Key areas of responsibility Engaging and orienting content experts to develop online course content for NetHawwal.com and other online platforms Editing course content for consistency Managing audiovisual content production, including open-licensed image and video research Ensuring that all contractors and staff adhere to strict project deadlines Course assembly on the NetHawwal learning platform, including identifying and resolving technical bugs Assist with translation workflow, including translation, editing, and localization Posting relevant course resources on Tasharuk.net Monitoring user interaction during course delivery and subsequent coaching periods Compensation Commensurate with experience, within an NGO budget Qualifications Demonstration of successful project management experience, editorial publications experience, and/or experience with developing adult training curricula Editorial-level command of English and Arabic High degree of computer and Internet literacy, including online collaboration tools, WordPress, social media, and Skype + other VOIP tools Experience participating in or delivering online courses preferred Qualities We Seek You take initiative You manage time effectively, can work remotely (via a strong, reliable Internet connection) You love to solve problems You are a systems thinker and have excellent organizational skills You are exceptionally detail oriented You can prioritize tasks with little oversight and meet deadlines You have a positive attitude and are committed to preparing learners for leading social change roles in the Arab information society You enjoy a startup culture and being part of a team Preference will be given to candidates based in Lebanon   We look forward to receiving your application.
