Driver

Driver’s duties:

Collects and delivers expat STTA experts from/to the Beirut airport as requested.

Takes staff, STTA and invited guests to specific locations for meetings, events and site visits according to established trip schedule. This will include visits to refugees settlements.

Delivers/collects goods and reports as needed.

Schedules vehicle maintenance for all vehicles as needed.

Takes vehicles for inspection when needed.

Keeps project vehicles clean and in good working order, and reports on the condition of the vehicles.

Keeps the project vehicles fueled for emergency purposes.

The driver is managed by the OM.

The driver exercises situational awareness at all times when driving staff and STTA to and from meetings, site visits or residences. The driver ensures that photos are taken of all passengers before embarking on official travel. The driver is to confirm with the OM that any scheduled travel is advisable on the scheduled day, and that no security issues have arisen along the route to the meeting, event or site visit. The driver is to report any unusual events encountered during his trip, and is to communicate with PMSPL II office when the security situation may have deteriorated.

The driver records mileage at the beginning and end of a trip in the trip logbook that is in the vehicle. The logbook entries is to include the names of passengers carried.

The driver may not transport any unauthorized person(s).
