Request for Expressions of Interest  Subject: Procurement of Research and Data Collection Firm Services Brief description of services required:    The principal objective of this procurement is to provide technical support to Social Impact in conducting and reporting a number of focus group discussions, involving:   Conduct Focus Group Discussions (FGD) with trainers, teachers, principals, and parents in elementary schools. Provide comprehensive detailed verbatim transcription of the FGD, in both Arabic and English. Provide summary report of the FGD in both Arabic and English per the agreed upon reporting standards and specifications. Provide Tape recording of all the FGD conducted. Provide attendance sheet of all the FGD conducted. Social Impact will be seeking a quotation based on the following criteria: Cost to conduct a focus group discussion (FGD) of no more than 12 participants, Cost of a note-taker (recorder) for each FGD, Cost to translate into English from Arabic the notes from the FGD, Cost of Transportation for FGD moderators and note takers, The extent of the company professional staff with expertise in facilitating FGD, The ability of the  firm (not sub-contractors) to provide nation-wide FGD coverage, Work history of the firm in conducting successful FGD & the analytical result of FGD, A list of references that can verify to quality of work. The number of FGDS to be held is not defined yet. An approximate number will be provided.  Social Impact is seeking a quotation per FGD based on the above criteria. All logistic and administrative work related to scheduling and organizing the focus groups will be handled by Social Impact. The bidders will have a chance to ask questions (questions submitted by a stated date, and responses sent to all bidders).
