Strategic Planning Consultant

The consultant will be responsible for:

  1. Visit and work with a total of 10 municipalities chosen from the different governorates in order to establish or strengthen existing public health committees in the municipalities. This will be done with the coordination of UNICEF field officers.

2. Conduct a workshop with members health committees of each municipality

3. Develop a local action plan on MNCAH with each municipality which will include community sensitization, mobilization, and youth outreach activities on topics related to MNCAH and to encourage referral of beneficiaries to PHCs in each municipality area

4. Support each municipality to implement one activity from the local health action plan developed targeting adolescents and aiming to raise their awareness on the MNCAH services available in the area.

Deliverables:

• 5 meetings with each of the 10 municipalities
• 2-day workshop to develop drafts of local health plan on MNCAH with each of the 10 municipalities
• Implementation of an activity from local health plan by each of the 10 municipalities
