Key Responsibilities:
The Education Manager will oversee and manage the quality and consistency of all educational programs across SSSE centers. The role requires a strong focus on curriculum implementation, staff development, student assessment, and operational leadership.
1. Curriculum Oversight and Academic Quality
- Supervise the implementation of Non-Formal Education (NFE) programs (ECE 1–3, Grades 2–3, BLN 1–3) in alignment with MEHE standards and UNICEF guidelines.
- Ensure the curriculum is context-sensitive, skill-based, child-centered, and adapted to the needs of refugee learners.
- Continuously improve teaching resources, learning materials, and practical classroom activities.
2. Staff Supervision and Professional Development
- Lead subject coordinators, ensuring effective curriculum delivery, classroom observation, and teacher support.
- Conduct regular classroom visits and provide feedback to enhance teaching quality and pedagogical practices.
- Organize and deliver professional development training for teaching staff.
- Evaluate staff performance regularly, preparing reports and improvement plans.
3. Assessment and Reporting
- Oversee formative and summative assessments, ensuring results are tracked and analyzed through the School Information System (SIS).
- Prepare and submit monthly reports to the Project Manager covering curriculum progress, student achievement, teacher performance, and operational updates.
4. Stakeholder Engagement
- Organize and participate in School Council Meetings (SCM) and Parent–Teacher Meetings (PTM) to ensure community involvement in decision-making.
- Maintain communication with students, parents, teachers, and administrative staff to ensure transparency and collaboration.
- Attend Education Sector meetings to represent SSSE and stay updated on sector developments.
5. Extracurricular and Enrichment Activities
- Monitor, organize, and supervise extracurricular programs to support students’ holistic development.
- Integrate creative, cultural, and awareness-based activities that foster teamwork, critical thinking, and social-emotional skills.
6. Recruitment and Staffing
- Coordinate the annual recruitment process, including staff questionnaires, vacancy identification, CV screening, written tests, interviews, and classroom observations.
- Ensure all hires meet SSSE’s educational, ethical, and professional standards.
7. Field Monitoring and Operational Oversight
- Conduct regular field visits to all centers, monitor teaching quality, curriculum implementation, and administrative processes.
- Provide mentorship, guidance, and immediate support to teaching and administrative staff.
- Ensure coordination between West Bekaa centers and the Bar Elias center.
8. Administrative Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, assessments, and staff performance using SIS.
- Submit timely reports and documentation according to SSSE standards and donor requirements.
- Support strategic planning, resource allocation, and operational improvements for the academic year.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Education, Educational Supervision, or related fields.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in educational management or teaching supervision, preferably in non-formal or refugee education.
- Strong knowledge of MEHE curriculum standards, child-centered pedagogy, and NFE models.
- Experience in teacher mentoring, professional development, and staff evaluation.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, SIS, and Microsoft Teams.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multicultural environment.

Location: West Bekaa, Lebanon (Ghazzeh, Kamed El Loz ad Barelias centers). Roving around these 3 locations.
