Project Manager (Educational Field)

SSSE is seeking a dynamic and experienced Project Manager to join the team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of project planning, execution, and delivery within the organization. This individual will collaborate closely with the Executive Director to ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.

Key Responsibilities: 

- Draft financial and narrative proposals for potential donors.

- Coordinate project resources and ensure timely delivery.

- Be the main liaison of the organization with donors and partners.

- Monitor project progress in collaboration with the MEAL Manager and Head of Education. 

- Provide monthly, quarterly, and yearly reporting to donors according to their respective guidelines. 

- Work closely with the Logistics and Procurement Officer to ensure project implementation and budget allocations are going according to the project plan on the field. 

- Ensure adherence to donors guidelines and values. 

- Ensure project financial documentation is complete and up-to-date.

- Ensure all payments at office or field level are made in a timely matter and within the adopted SSSE forms 

- Ensure that payment documents comply with SSSE donor regulations 

- Support proposals of new or existing projects with financial budget 

- Support SSSE Executive Director in all matters related to the bank account at First National Bank including bank statements, transactions, payroll etc… 

- Any other specific task upon request. 

 

Qualifications: 

- Bachelor's degree in any related field. Masters' Degree preferred. 

- Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management in NGOs.

- Strong understanding of project management principles and practices.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with donors and partners.

- Experience in monitoring project progress and preparing reports for donors.

- Familiarity with financial management and budgeting processes.

- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks efficiently.

- Flexibility and willingness to adapt to changing priorities and tasks.

- Commitment to the mission and values of SSSE.

- Fluency in both oral and written communication in English and Arabic languages.

- Proficiency in core Microsoft Office Suite, including MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
