Social Worker

Society for Social Support and Education (SSSE) is looking to hire an experienced Social Worker for 2 educational centers located in Ghazzah and Kamed el Loz. The Social Worker will play a crucial role in enhancing the general well-being of students. The Social Worker should be able to identify cases of trauma and need of psycho-social support, as well as take initiative in coordinating extracurricular activities to promote holistic development. 

Key Responsibilities
•    Design activities that encourage teamwork, collaboration, and positive peer relationships and align with the educational and emotional needs of the students.
•    Collaborate with teachers, parents, and SSSE management team to create a supportive environment for students.
•    Facilitate team-building exercises and projects to enhance interpersonal skills.
•    Promote a sense of belonging and inclusivity among students through group activities.
•    Create a positive and inclusive atmosphere that extends beyond specific events or programs.
•    Encourage students to share their experiences and successes with the broader school community.
•    Identify cases of students in need of psycho-social support and referring them to the SSSE management team or specialized NGOs.
•    Collaborate with other school staff to integrate psycho-social support into the overall educational program.
