Objective

The primary objective of this policy paper is to comprehensively understand and analyze the legal situation of people with Disability- PwD victims of the Beirut port explosion. The paper aims to provide actionable recommendations to improve their access to justice and compensation.

 Scope of Work

The consultant(s) will:

• To understand the nature of the people with Disability- PwD victims and their Legal situation.
• Review existing legal frameworks and policies in Lebanon that pertain to people with Disability- PwD victims of the explosion.
• Conduct interviews with legal experts, and/or relevant stakeholders.
• Identify gaps and challenges in the current legal provisions and their implementation.
