ABOUT THE STRUCTURE of the INGO:

Solidarités International is an International NGO working with vulnerable populations, mainly victims of armed conflicts and natural disasters. Specialized for nearly 40 years in the coverage of vital needs, S.I. takes charge of emergency and reconstruction programs.

With respect for cultures and close to the people, Solidarités International implements its programs by combining its skills with those of its employees and local managers.

Solidarités International's teams, made up of around 270 expatriates and nearly 2200 local employees, are today present in 18 countries in Asia, Middle East, Africa and Caribbean where they are particularly committed to fighting diseases related to unsafe water but also in the essential area of food security and livelihoods.

  • Objectives of the Training

The objective is to get a 2 days training:

One day dedicated to training design

One day dedicated to training facilitation

The objective of this training is to enhance the capacities of key staff in creating and facilitating a wholesome, attractive, and engaging onboarding sessions for every SI newcomers.

 

  • Expected Results

- State the principles of adult learning and apply them to the design and implementation of a training session

- Design a training session (How to get a pedagogical scenario and what is it for)

- Build a training scenario

- Select and develop appropriate training materials

- Promote an in-depth understanding of the various styles of presentations and the effect of each.

- Practice a range of training facilitation technique.

- Enhance the participant’s abilities in creating a comprehensive and engaging induction.

- Set up different types of evaluation of a training session

 

  • Methodology

The methodology will include:

- Professional experience of teachers,

- Sharing of experiences

- Practical case studies treated in groups,

- Restitutions,

- Analysis and debates.

 

  • Duration and dates

- 2 days of face to face training

- 9 am to 5 pm, with one-hour break

- July 2022

 

  • Participants

15 to 18 participants : all key staff expected to conduct an induction for new joiners.

 

  • Profile

- Training and qualifications:  Ideally (but not limited to) HR, Coaching, psychology, sociology of organizations.

 

- Specific professional experience:

Deep knowledge of the humanitarian sector.

Extensive experience in completing training/workshops for organizations

Experience in creating onboarding/induction plans.

 

- Languages: English and Arabic

  • A technical offer with:

- Understanding of the challenges of the training

- The methodology and tools proposed for the training

- Distinction of the 2 part of the training, highlighting importance of the training scenario

- Proposal planning

 

  • A financial offer including a budget with detailed sections (fees, other costs)
  • An updated CV of the trainer
  • References / copies of similar contract with NGOs
