Finance Intern

DESCRIPTION OF THE POSITION

General objective:

The finance intern will be going through a learning experience and mentoring to be introduced to the finance department at Solidarites International operating in Lebanon.

Responsibilities and main activities:

• Assisting in maintaining accurate financial records and databases.
• Helping in project budgets monitoring, track expenses, and support in variance analysis.
• Assist in Audits: Support the finance team during internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and information.
• Assist in Financial Transactions: Support the processing of payments, invoices, and other financial transactions in compliance with organizational policies and procedures.
• Archiving process of the finance department.
• Ad Hoc Tasks: Undertake additional tasks and projects as assigned by your supervisor.

   

PROFILE NEEDED

Studies: Essential Degree in finance/accounting is highly desirable

Experience: No experience is needed

Language: English

IT: Good computer/Excel skills

Qualification:

• Ability to organize and prioritize workload independently, using initiative when appropriate.
• Detail oriented.
• Fast Learner.
