Solidarités International is an International NGO working with vulnerable populations, mainly victims of armed conflicts and natural disasters. Specialized for nearly 40 years in the coverage of vital needs, S.I. takes charge of emergency and reconstruction programs.
With respect for cultures and close to the people, Solidarités International implements its programs by combining its skills with those of its employees and local managers.
Solidarités International's teams, made up of around 270 expatriates and nearly 2200 local employees, are today present in 18 countries in Asia, Middle East, Africa and Caribbean where they are particularly committed to fighting diseases related to unsafe water but also in the essential area of food security and livelihoods.
ABOUT THE JOB
HR management of personnel:
- Participate in the organization of training and ensure that all trainings attended are recorded in HOMERE (HR Software)
- Ensure digital and physical archiving and monitoring of individual dossiers and deliver all documents relative to the professional life of Solidarités International employees
- Ensure the confidentiality of all HR datas
- Participate in the monitoring of work contracts on the base and inform Deputy HR Coordinator when they are due to expire. The HR Assistant is also in charge to draft new contracts.
- Collect payment details and integrate them into the Human resources management software (Homère)
- Issue pay slips and supervise payment of salaries after approval by the Deputy HR Coordinator
- Calculate taxes and duties and create pay records for the relevant organizations (NSSF, Insurance etc…)
- Support the Deputy HR coo in the follow-up of Professional Evaluation Report, check of the quality of the document and ensure all information related are recorded in HOMERE.
- Keep an organization chart up to date for the base
- Assist the administrative in the organization and conduct of meetings with personnel representatives
- Participate in the application of policies relating to salaries and benefits for Solidarités International
- Monitor changes in the cost of living
Recruitment
- Support the Head of Department to respect and follow-up the recruitment procedures and participate to the interview.
- Prepare the induction planning of new employees in collaboration with his/her line manager and head of department.
- Orientate new recruited employees on SI HR Policy (Internal Staffs Regulations, specifics allowances and benefits…) and explain the contents of SI HR procedures and processes.
- Update the recruitment follow-up on a monthly basis
Reporting / communication:
- Participate in supervision of regulations in effect
- Centralize and report to the Deputy HR Coo on ISR implementation’s feedbacks/issues
- Report to each Head of Department on a weekly and monthly basis HR related information about their respective teams
- Participate to the NHR Pack preparation Link with the authorities
- Upon delegation of the Deputy HR Coordinator, the HR assistant will have to represent SI at certain ministries in order to carry out the necessary formalities for the regular presence of expatriates in Lebanon or any formality required by the labor law.
Specific skills and experience:
- Language skills: Fluent in Arabic and English
- Education degree: University degree in Human Resources or related field.
- Work experience: Minimum two years of experience in a similar position.
- Knowledge & skills: Good analytical and writing skills
- Computer skills: Good knowledge of the MS office software including Word, Outlook and Excel

A salaried post: 1,380 USD – Basic salary
