ABOUT THE JOB:
General objective:
At his/her assigned base level, the Human Resources Assistant supports the Human Resources Manager in the processing of all tasks relating to Human Resources.
The main challenges:
- The HR Assistant is responsible for performing HR file audits to ensure that all required documents are collected and are maintained in employee files.
- The HR Assistant often acts as an advocate for employees and conveys employee issues and concerns to management for resolution.
Priorities for the 2/3 first months:
- To serve as a liaison between the organization and the insurance company, and the external auditors.
- To be trained on Payroll processing using HOMERE HR system.
Responsibilities and main activities:
HR management of personnel
- Participate in the organization of training and ensure that all trainings attended are recorded in HOMERE (HR Software)
- Ensure digital and physical archiving and monitoring of individual dossiers and deliver all documents relative to the professional life of SOLIDARITES INTERNATIONAL employees
- Ensure the confidentiality of all HR datas
- Monitor all employment contracts on the base and inform Human Resources Manager when they are due to expire
- Draft new contracts and amendments
- Supervise the collection of elements needed to establish wages and monitor their proper implementation
- Consolidate the monthly payroll before submission to the Human Resources Manager
- Calculate taxes and duties and create pay records for the relevant organizations (NSSF, Alico etc…)
- Support the Human Resources Manager in the follow-up of Professional Evaluation Report, check of the quality of the documents and ensure all related information are recorded in HOMERE
- Ensure the organization chart is up to date for the base
- Assist the Human Resources Manager in the organization and conduct of meetings with personnel representatives
- Participate in the application of policies relating to salaries and benefits for SOLIDARITES INTERNATIONAL
Recruitment
- Support the Head of Departments at base level to respect and follow-up the recruitment procedures and participate to the interview upon his/her line manager’s request
- Prepare the induction planning of new employees in collaboration with his/her line manager and head of department
- Orientate new recruited employees on SI HR Policy (Internal Staffs Regulations, specifics allowances and benefits…) and explain the contents of SI HR procedures and processes
- Update the recruitment follow-up and send to the Human Resources Manager on a monthly basis
Team management
- Train and support team members under his or her supervision (if any)
- Ensure the minimal replacement of members of the admin services in case of absence (days of, sickness etc.)
Reporting / communication
- Participate in supervision of regulations in effect
- Centralize and report to the Human Resources Manager on ISR implementation’s feedbacks/issues
- Report to each Head of Department on a weekly and monthly basis HR related information about their respective team at base level
- Take part of the weekly meeting and report progress of Human Resources activities to the Human Resources Manager on a weekly basis
- Participate to the NHR Pack preparation

YOUR PROFILE
Education and Experience
• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Human Resources or equivalent
• At least 1-year of experience in a similar domain/position, for INGO sector.
Knowledge and technical skills
• Knowledge of the Lebanese Labor Law and taxation Policies
• Proven Previous Experience in preparing payroll and handling personnel filing systems
• Excellent computer skills

• Excellent prioritization and organization skills.
• Proactivity, flexibility, autonomy, pragmatism, solutions-oriented mindset.
• Capacity to work under pressure and solve problems.
• Good analytical and writing/editing skills.
• Good communication and diplomatic skills.
•Good and proven writing and spoken Arabic & English are required.
SI WILL OFFER YOU
A salaried post: 1615 USD as a monthly basic salary
Vacation: 1.5 days/month
