PRESENTATION OF THE ORGANIZATION
SOLIDARITES INTERNATIONAL (SI) is an international humanitarian NGO which, for more than 40 years, has been providing assistance to populations affected by armed conflicts and natural disasters by meeting their vital needs for food, water and shelter. Particularly involved in the fight against diseases linked to unsafe water, the first cause of death in the world, SI's interventions provide expertise in the field of access to drinking water, sanitation and hygiene promotion, but also in the essential area of food security and livelihoods. Present in around twenty countries, SI's teams - 2000 people in total made up of expatriates, national staff, permanent staff at headquarters, and a few volunteers - work with professionalism and commitment while respecting cultures.
Solidarités International (SI) is determined to prevent and fight all type of abuse – all act of exploitation, abuse and/or sexual harassment (SEAH) against members of beneficiary communities or collaborators, fraud, corruption, violation of persons and/or property, funding of activities harmful to human rights – that could be perpetrated in the frame of its interventions. DESCRIPTION OF THE POSITION
General objective:
To support the effective implementation of Hulo’s Joint Initiatives and activities in Lebanon, including procurement, transportation, and data consolidation, ensuring alignment with organizational guidelines and the needs of participating NGOs. With major focus on providing administrative and operational assistance across initiatives.
The main challenges:
Ensuring accurate and up-to-date data collection and analysis for joint initiatives amidst evolving NGO needs.
Coordinating between multiple partners with varying expectations and operational challenges.
Priorities for the 2/3 first months:
familiarize with hulo’s values, culture and workflow.
Consolidate and update supplier database.
Implementation of workflows for data collection, report drafting, and archiving.
Support the coordination of Joint Environmental Initiatives.
Responsibilities and main activities:
1. Supporting Joint Initiatives and Procurement:
Assist in maintaining updated supplier database.
Support NGOs in preparing and managing joint tenders, CFIs, and procurement processes.
Organize and ensure proper archiving of documents for transparency.
Help coordinate purchases, ensuring compliance with agreed rules and standards.
Support supplier negotiations for pricing, delivery, and sustainable practices.
Assist in building and maintaining positive supplier relationships.
2. Management of Joint Transportation Initiative:
Consolidate movement plans between all partners.
Support vehicle scheduling and maintenance coordination.
Ensure shared vehicles are equipped with safety kits and logbooks are used correctly.
Monitor fuel consumption, mileage, and resource usage.
Help track and update vehicle documents for smooth operations.
Assist in managing payments for transportation-related services.
3. Capitalization / Reporting / Representation:
Assist in gathering, consolidating, and analyzing data for joint initiatives.
Support the preparation of reports, databases, and related project documents.
Occasionally represent Hulo at logistics meetings or forums under the guidance of the Country Coordinator.
Help organize introductory meetings with organizations in coordination with the Country Coordinator.

PROFILE NEEDED
Studies: BA in Administration, management or any related field with relevant experience in procurement and logistics coordination.
Experience: 1 to 3 years of relevant experience in logistics, procurement, or transportation management, ideally in the humanitarian or NGO sector, including roles involving coordination or data analysis within a multi-stakeholder environment
Language : English & Arabic
IT : Strong knowledge of MS Office Suite, especially Excel, for data analysis and reporting.
SI WILL OFFER YOU
A salaried post: 1,615 USD as basic salary
Vacation: 1.75 paid leave per month
