Main Responsibilities: 1- Manage the national ERP program a)    Oversee the activities of all projects and facilities within the country, ensuring that they serve the interests of the children within their care. b)    Ensure the full implementation of all SOS-KDI standards, policies, manuals etc. in all the operations of the organisation. c)     Supervise, control and is held responsible for all the activities of the ERP Program including, but not limited to: Management, Administration, Planning, Finance, Human Resources, Public Relations, Communications, Reporting and Logistics. d)    Ensure the achievement of the goals and objectives defined by SOS-Kinderdorf International, and as established in the Regional Plan, the National Plan and his individual action plan in co-ordination with the National Director. e)    Ensure that the ERP Program operates in accordance with the policies and procedures of the Organisation. f)      Monitors and evaluates results and KPIs g)    Contributes to strategic planning and new projects development h)    Conducts needs assessments and writes project proposals i)      Compiles information and develops internal, donor-oriented and communication reports j)      Maintain contact with other child-care organisations, as well as other role players in the child-care sector to encourage exchange of information and experience, with the ultimate goal of having the organisation appropriately recognised externally. k)     Encourage and facilitate the transfer of knowledge nationally and between the countries of the region. 2- Reporting and management a)    Responsible to the National Director, in close consultation with the ERP Regional Director. b)    Regular reports are prepared, reviewing progress on objectives. 3- Personnel recruitment, selection, development and management a)    Ensure that procedures/standards as documented in the Organisation’s HR Manual are adhered to, ensure that correct employment procedures are followed for all staff and that all new staff receive an employment letter, a contract, Conditions of Service and a job description. b)    Ensure that detailed confidential files are maintained in respect of all employees. c)     Be a supportive and understanding leader within the organisation on whom staff can depend. Commitments should be kept and an open door policy with regard to staff maintained. d)    Uphold the rights and responsibilities of each member of staff, as outlined in the Terms and Conditions of Service and their job descriptions. e)    Develop and promote a harmonious work-place environment where staff feel they are allowed their necessary space, free to air their views without any fear of unfair treatment; develop and promote a teamwork atmosphere throughout the organisation; f)      Ensure that effective channels of communication are maintained within each project, through regular staff meetings, etc. Monitor the minutes of such meetings and take corrective action as required. g)    Hold regular reviews and performance appraisals with all senior staff to assess their performance against agreed objectives. An effective performance management system should be consistently used with all senior staff responsible to the ERP Manager. h)    Act as an independent arbitrator when disputes and grievances arise amongst staff members. 4- Financial management overview a)    Work closely with the ERP Finance Officer and the National Financial Controller to develop the annual budget, ensuring that the organisation’s plans and objectives can be financially supported. b)    Ensure that the property and financial resources of the organisation are used in a modest and efficient manner for the benefit of the children in its care. 5- General a)     Participate in Regional Meetings and other Forums as determined by the Regional Office. Support regional initiatives to promote exchange and sharing of experiences, information, and resources where necessary; b)    Ensure that a high standard of management, maintenance and child-care is maintained in all projects. Each Project should be visited at least two times per quarter. c)     The ERP Manager should set an example in his modesty and dedication to the Organisation’s principles and objectives. The ERP Manager must adhere to all personnel and financial policies and procedures as defined for all staff members. Special privileges or benefits can not be accommodated. d)    Continuously develop skills and abilities appropriate for the position. e)     The ERP Manager agrees to perform other activities, especially in case of emergency situations / crises according to the actual need, as requested by and agreed with the National Director Protects the children in our care from all forms of physical or mental violence, injury or abuse, neglect or negligent treatment, maltreatment or exploitation, including sexual abuse. g)    Handles all SOS property appropriately, including the financial resources of the organisation   Qualifications: Fluent in Arabic and English required; French is a plus Background in project management and team management Reporting skills Experience in similar field and organizations Driving license is a plus as there is a lot of internal traveling required Proven leadership, communication and organisational skills Knowledge of finance Good English speaking and writing skills Identification with the values of the organisation and willingness to contribute to its aims Hard-working, dedicated and able to work under pressure
