National Emergency Response Program Coordinator

We are seeking a full time National ERP Coordinator  for the emergency response projects dedicated to Syrian refugee children at risk in Lebanon.  We are looking for a dynamic person who can handle a big responsibility, has experience in project management in inter-disciplinary teams and who has experience with child safeguarding* (preferably in emergencies).  Child safeguarding includes all activities that the organisation undertakes to ensure that its co-workers, operations, and programmes do no harm to children and do not expose them to the risk of harm and abuse; appropriate responses and effective management of child safeguarding concerns are in place; any concerns the organisation has about children’s safety in its own programmes and within the communities they work in are reported to the appropriate authorities. Tasks and Responsibilities include: Maintains the SOS philosophy and ensures that all staff are familiar with the history, philosophy, principles and policies of SOS Oversees and coordinates the different Emergency Response program in Lebanon (Beirut, Khenshara, Bekaa, Akkar) Manages the communication flow between the teams on the ground, the National office and the Regional office Directly manages the different focal points and coordinators and provides guidance for their teams Holds meetings with other actors, NGOs, Governments and clusters to advocate for SOS work and find synergies and partnership opportunities Monitors and evaluates results and KPIs Contributes to strategic planning and new projects development Conducts needs assessments and writes project proposals Compiles information and develops internal, donor-oriented and communication reports
