Vocational and Life skills Trainer

Key performance areas and main responsibilities:

 

  1. Plan life skills, technical and digital literacy training programs according to  organizational requirements
  2. Produce training schedules and classroom agenda
  3. Determine course content according to objectives
  4. Prepare training material (presentations, worksheets etc.)
  5. Execute training sessions, webinars, workshops etc. in groups or individually
  6. Arrange for and conduct on-site training when needed
  7. Keep and report data on completed courses, absences, issues etc.
  8. Observe and evaluate results of training programs
  9. Determine overall effectiveness of programs and make improvements

 

Qualifications Required:

  • Proficiency in MS Office, social media,  and in databases software, basic coding and presentation software
  • BS degree in Education, Training, HR or related field
  • Certifications such as CTT+ (Certified Technical Trainer) or other relevant certifications are is a strong asset

 

Skills and Competencies:

  • Proven experience as technical trainer
  • Knowledge of modern training techniques and tools in technical subjects
  • Experience in designing technical course content
  • Ability to address training needs with complete courses
  • Outstanding communication skills and comfortable speaking to crowds
  • Excellent organizational and time-management abilities

 

Working Conditions:

The candidate will be giving courses for 5 days / 2 hours per day in the afternoon
