Position Summary:
The Emergency Field Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating and overseeing field activities, conducting community kitchen and site visits, and liaising with workers and community to ensure the successful implementation of response and interventions. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in diverse and challenging environments.
Working Conditions: Full time job, 7days/week, 8 hours a day, on site with frequent field/community kitchen visits.
Reporting: S/He will report on a daily basis to the MEAL Manger or designated people by SBT.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Oversee and coordinate field/community kitchens operations to ensure the successful implementation of the response and interventions, maintaining quality standards and adherence to project objectives.
- Work closely with communities and shelter focal persons to establish rapport, gather feedback, and facilitate their involvement in the response.
- Conduct daily field visits to the community kitchen sites, monitoring progress, identifying challenges, and proposing solutions to address issues as they arise.
- Collect data and information from the field using appropriate tools and methodologies, ensuring accuracy and relevance the response objectives.
- Support the recruitment, training, and supervision of field staff and volunteers, providing guidance and support to enhance their effectiveness.
- Coordinate logistical arrangements for field response, including transportation, accommodation, and procurement of necessary equipment and supplies.
- Prepare field reports, updates, and documentation summarizing key findings, achievements, and challenges for internal and external stakeholders.
- Contribute to the identification of best practices and lessons learned from field operations, informing programmatic decision-making and strategy development.
- Play a proactive role in problem-solving and decision-making in the field, ensuring timely and effective resolution of challenges to support the project's overall success.

High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree preferred.
EXPERIENCE:
At least 3 years of working experience in a similar position, field operations, or community development.
A previous experience in community kitchen is a plus.
A previous working experience in an NGOs is a plus.
SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES:
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Strong verbal and written communication skills in Arabic and English.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
Strong time management
High attention to detail, particularly in assessments and reporting.
Knowledge of participatory approaches, community mobilization techniques, and rural development principles.
Willingness to travel frequently and work in remote or challenging environments.
Fluent in in Arabic, good knowledge of professional English language
Excellent command of MS Office Tools and related technical software
A valid driving license is mandatory
