The Trainer shall deliver training sessions over a period of twenty-three (23) working days, corresponding to a total of 69 instructional hours, to the adult beneficiaries of SBT, on Air Conditioner and Refrigerator Repair and Maintenance in Tripoli, Akkar and the Bekaa.
Upon successful completion of the training program, the beneficiaries shall be awarded a certificate attesting to the acquisition of practical competencies and theoretical knowledge.
The certificate shall be duly authenticated by the Lebanese Ministry of Education and Higher Education.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Orientation and Material Setup
- The Trainer and the SBT’s Project Coordinator/Technical Supervisor will participate in an internal orientation session to finalize the sequence of modules, confirm teaching methodologies, and validate training tools and materials.
- S/He, in coordination with SBT, will ensure that all toolkits, spare parts, and demonstration equipment (air conditioners, refrigerators) are available, functional, and aligned with the training curriculum at the training site.
- Training Delivery
- Deliver theoretical and practical training sessions in white goods repair in accordance with the approved DGTVE-aligned curriculum
- Ensure training content is adapted to adult learning methodologies
- Demonstrate practical repair techniques and supervise hands-on exercises
- Ensure compliance with safety standards during all practical sessions
- Assessment and Certification
- Conduct pre-tests, continuous assessments, and final evaluations
- Grade trainees based on agreed evaluation criteria
- Contribute to the certification process by validating trainees’ attendance and performance
- Reporting and Documentation
- Submit daily attendance sheets
- Provide assessment results, grading sheets, and test records
- Contribute to weekly progress reports, highlighting challenges, achievements, and recommendations
- Coordination
- Coordinate with SBT Project Coordinator/Technical Supervisor
- Support alignment between training content and internship/job placement requirements
