Beautician trainer

We are looking for a Beautician Trainer to lead sessions in our Achrafieh Community Center.

About the Position:

Tabitha is seeking a qualified and passionate Beautician Trainer to deliver hands on training in beauty and personal care practices for women from vulnerable communities including migrants. The trainer will help build participants’ skills in aesthetics and self-care, supporting them to access employment or self employment opportunities in the beauty industry.

Responsibilities and Essential Functions:

  • Conduct practical training sessions in areas such as skincare, makeup, and hygiene.
  • Demonstrate proper use of tools, products, and techniques in beauty services.
  • Deliver sessions using interactive, inclusive, and culturally sensitive approaches.
  • Customize training content based on the participants’ learning levels and needs.
  • Provide ongoing feedback, guidance, and encouragement to participants.
  • Assist with the design and adaptation of training materials and curriculum.
  • Maintain participant attendance records and monitor training progress.
  • Collaborate with the project team on logistics and implementation.
  • Ensure hygiene, safety, and respect in all training environments.
  • Prepare the list of tools and equipments required for the training sessions.
  • Uphold Tabitha’s values, policies, and safeguarding standards.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Certified in first aid and/or healthcare training
  • Background in nursing, midwifery, early childhood education, or a related field
  • Experience working with mothers, caregivers, or young children
  • Strong facilitation and communication skills
  • Able to manage group dynamics and encourage active participation
  • Comfortable working in community-based settings
  • Fluent in Arabic; English is a plus

Experience:

  • Minimum 1–2 years of experience in delivering training or health education
  • Prior work with NGOs or in humanitarian contexts is an asset
  • A driving license and access to transportation is preferred
