About the position: Tabitha is looking for a daily Emergency Third Party Monitors who will be responsible for monitoring the distribution of meals in shelters. The Emergency Third Party Monitors reports to the Project Manager.

Areas: The interested candidate should be from the following areas: Beirut, Metn, Aley, Jbeil and Keserwan. Candidates should clearly specify in the email subject the area they are interested in.

Job requirements: The candidate should have a driving license and a car.

Responsibilities and essential functions:

 

  • Monitor the distribution of hot meals in selected shelters and inform project coordinators of any changes in numbers, food waste, or other concerns.
  • Complete the required tools/forms at each shelter and assist with data entry and analysis.
  • Coordinate with shelter focal points and IDPs as needed to gather feedback on food quality, delivery timing, and IDP satisfaction, and document their comments and recommendations.
  • Coordinate with school focal points regarding the number of IDPs per shelter and the quantity of meals needed to minimize food waste.
  • Collect information from shelter focal points in cases of food poisoning.
  • Gather information on food waste or food poisoning to understand the causes and report them to the project coordinator.
  • Receive and compile feedback from IDPs and shelter focal points to help identify programmatic issues.

 

Skills:

  • Basic Computer Skills.
  • Ability to manage and prioritize tasks.
  • Good communication Skills.
  • Good in writing daily reports.
  • Capacity and willingness to travel to the field.
  • The candidate should have a driving license and a car.
  • Preferably that candidate resides in the same relevant area.
