We are looking for PSS Facilitators (2 positions) to provide psychological first aid and facilitate psychosocial support sessions for IDPs, including children and adults, inside and outside collective shelters.
Position details:
Contractual agreement, 5 days per week
Incentive per day: 40 USD subject to 8.5% tax withholding
Able to operate in: Batroun, Koura, Zgharta, Tripoli

Main Tasks:
Psychological First Aid and PSS Sessions
- Provide psychological first aid for IDPs
- Organize and lead psychosocial support sessions for children and adults inside and outside the shelters
Information and Awareness
- Conduct information and awareness sessions inside and outside the collective shelters
- Ensure sessions are inclusive, culturally sensitive, and adapted to the needs of participants
Community Engagement
- Engage IDP communities to identify psychosocial needs and encourage participation in activities
- Build trust and maintain positive relationships with community members
Documentation and Reporting
- Document attendance, session content, and participant feedback
- Prepare regular reports highlighting achievements, challenges, and recommendations
Requirements:
- Ability to operate in: Batroun, Koura, Zgharta, and Tripoli
- Experience facilitating group sessions with children and/or adults in humanitarian or community settings
- Ability to handle sensitive situations with empathy, professionalism, and confidentiality
Preferred Skills:
- Knowledge and practical application of Psychological First Aid (PFA)
- Strong facilitation skills and ability to adapt sessions to different age groups and needs
- Ability to create a safe, inclusive, and culturally sensitive environment
- Good documentation and reporting skills (attendance, session summaries, feedback)
- Ability to work under pressure and coordinate with field teams and stakeholders
