To provide hands-on instruction to a group of youth, aged 14 to 18, on troubleshooting and diagnostic procedures in cell phone repairing.
To meet two times a week for 3 hours each, over 2 months (Around 8 sessions- 48 hours of training in total). The schedule can be discussed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop activities and materials for effective training
- Conduct practical sessions on repairing and maintenance of cell phones (Inspecting mobile phones and their structures to identify the cause of errors or other defects)
- Conduct sessions on dismantling and assembling mobile phones
- Evaluate the attendees regularly and provide constructive feedback
Requirements:
- Two years of experience in the mobile maintenance and repair
- Candidates with previous experience in training repair are preferred
- Ability to work with students from a challenging background and motivate them
- Excellent communication skills
- Commitment to the project
- Nonjudgmental attitude, maturity and patience in dealing with children and community members of different backgrounds.
- Adherence to Tahaddi’s core values of justice for all, integrity and serving deprived children with compassion and respect.
- Willingness to work in a very poor neighborhood with basic facilities and complex social dynamics
