Elementary Educator For Grades 1 To 4

The Tahaddi Education Center (TEC) provides educational opportunities for at-risk, out of school children in Beirut (behind the Sport City). We are currently looking for full time Educators and special needs Educators for Elementary Levels in Math, Sciences, English, Arabic and Art. Priority will be given to candidates able to be Homeroom Educators and teach several subjects. Teaching is given in English and Arabic . Preference will be given to candidates who have an academic background in education and/or at least a BA in one of the subjects taught. In addition to teaching at the elementary school level, educators will also be involved in other activities such as tutoring children of the community, organizing social activities and facilitating educational activities with young adults. Tahaddi is a faith-based organization. The candidate must be in alignment with Tahaddi core values of: justice for all, professionalism, integrity, and empowerment and be committed to serve deprived children with compassion and respect. Full-time position are on the basis of 40 hours of work per week (Monday – Friday, 8am – 4pm)
