Elementary Educators In Maths, Sciences And English

The Tahaddi Education Center (TEC) provides educational opportunities for at-risk, out of school children in a very poor area of Beirut (behind the Sport City). We are currently looking for full time Educators and/or Homeroom Educators for Elementary levels(Grade 1 to 5) in the following subjects: Maths, Sciences, English. Preference will be given to candidates who have an academic background in education and/or at least a BA in the subject taught. In addition to teaching at the elementary school level, educators will also be involved in other activities such as tutoring children of the community, organizing social activities during the month of July and/or facilitating educational activities with young adults. Tahaddi is a faith-based organization. The candidate must be in alignment with Tahaddi core values of: justice for all, professionalism, integrity, and empowerment and be committed to serve deprived children with compassion and respect. Full-time position: Monday – Friday, 8am – 3.30pm Position Aim: Help and support unschooled and /or deprived children and young adults to become a valuable part of the society through holistic education initiatives.
