Tahaddi is a Lebanese NGO established in 2008 whose aim is to holistically respond to the challenges of poverty by facilitating access to education, health and psychosocial support. Tahaddi operates a non-formal education center and a community-based health center located in Hay el Gharbeh, Southern Beirut.

Tahaddi Lebanon is currently recruiting an HR Consultant, to develop and guide the overall provision of HR services and policies.

Reports to: Executive Director  

Location: Southern Beirut (Hay El Gharbeh)

Work type: 25 working days

Job Responsibilities

The HR Consultant will:

• Review salary scales and entitlements of local staff, conducting job evaluations and recommending pay structure revisions as necessary.
• Develop an HR Service Manual, consolidating and developing existing human resource policies and procedures.
• Introduce an effective system of staff performance and appraisal, proposing mechanisms to link the results of the appraisal process to salary review, performance targets, promotion, training and, where appropriate, termination and replacement of employees.
• Establish a system for how to handle employee complaints, disputes and grievances.

Qualifications:

• Advanced university degree in HR, administration, management or a related field;
• At least 5 years of professional experience working in HR;
• Proficiency in MS Office software, including Word, Excel, and online HR databases;
• Extensive knowledge of Lebanon’s labour laws and NGO compliance practices;
• Fluency in Arabic and English.
