Math and Sciences Educators

Position skills:

• Manage and educate groups of children aged 7 to 14 according to the TEC requirements, using exciting methods and instructional materials to meet children’s varying needs and interests.
• Prepare monthly and weekly plans.
•  Provide a variety of materials and resources for children to explore, manipulate and use in learning activities.
• Observe and evaluate children's performance, behavior and social development.
• Show patience and demonstrate ability to manage misbehavior using appropriate methods.

• Maintain a safe and positive atmosphere between children.

• Meet regularly with the Coordinator.
• Work effectively with team members.
• Show self-motivation, enthusiasm and creativity.
• Take part in professional development opportunities.

Job Requirements:

• BA Degree in Education; Teaching Diploma preferred
• Excellent interpersonal skills, team spirit, sense of initiative, desire to learn, and flexibility.

• Fluency in Arabic and English.
• Computer literacy.    
• Nonjudgmental attitude, maturity and patience in dealing with children and community members of different backgrounds.
