Music Educator

The Tahaddi Education Center (TEC) provides educational opportunities for at-risk, out of school children in Beirut (behind the Sport City). We are currently seeking a Music Educator for the preschool and elementary school levels (KG 2 to grade 5), children aged 4 to 14. This is a part time position: 3 days a week from 8.00 to 2.00., 1 day from 8.00 to 3.30 Primary Responsibilities: Use exciting methods and instructional up –to- date material and musical instruments to  sing with the children and  teach Music Lead a choir and/or, if possible, teach the recorder or the xylophone, etc. Plan, prepare, animate, lead and mediate in a creative way. Show class management skills Show self-motivation, enthusiasm and creativity. Work effectively with team members.
