Pre-School Educator

The Tahaddi Education Center (TEC) provides educational opportunities for at-risk, out of school children in Beirut (behind the Sport City). We are currently looking for a full time Educator for KG3 , English educated, with a BA in Early Education. In addition to the KG class, the educator will also be involved in other activities such as tutoring children of the community. Tahaddi is a faith-based organization. The candidate must be in alignment with Tahaddi core values of: justice for all, professionalism, integrity and empowerment and must be committed to serve deprived children with compassion and respect. A full-time position means  40 hours of work per week (Monday – Friday, 8am – 4pm) Position Aim: Help and support unschooled and /or deprived children from the community to become a valuable part of society through holistic education initiatives.   Primary Responsibilities: Manage and educate groups of children aged 4 and 5, according to the TEC requirements, using exciting methods and instructional materials to meet children’s varying needs and interests. Plan, prepare, animate, lead and mediate in a creative way. Organize educational and social activities for children. Show self motivation, enthusiasm and creativity. Work effectively with team members.
