Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Environmental Consultant to join our team and provide expertise in waste management, hygiene, and water-related topics. The Environmental Consultant will be responsible for developing and delivering training sessions for facilitators who will, in turn, educate residents and students on these critical topics. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in environmental science or a related field, excellent communication skills, and the ability to deliver engaging and informative training sessions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Training Development: Design comprehensive training programs on waste management, hygiene, and water-related topics tailored to the needs of facilitators.
- Training Delivery: Conduct engaging and interactive training sessions for facilitators, ensuring they have a thorough understanding of key concepts and best practices.
- Resource Development: Create training materials, including presentations, handouts, and visual aids, to support facilitators in delivering effective training to residents and students.
- Subject Matter Expertise: Serve as a subject matter expert on waste management, hygiene, and water-related topics, providing guidance and support to facilitators as needed.
- Quality Assurance: Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs, gathering feedback from facilitators and adjusting content as necessary to ensure maximum impact.
- Collaboration: Work closely with internal stakeholders, including project managers and community leaders, to align training objectives with project goals and community needs.
- Capacity Building: Build the capacity of facilitators to effectively communicate and deliver training sessions to residents and students, empowering them to become advocates for environmental sustainability.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on the latest developments and best practices in waste management, hygiene, and water-related topics, incorporating new knowledge into training programs as appropriate.
