1. Background

Tatweer Baladna is a Lebanese non-profit organization founded in 2017, committed to empowering youth and adults through quality education, innovation, and soft and tech skills. The organization integrates STEAM learning, digital literacy, green skills, and climate resilience to prepare individuals for a rapidly evolving world. Its programs focus on hands-on, project-based learning and inclusive capacity building that promote employability, lifelong learning, and social inclusion, especially for vulnerable groups.

Through its holistic approach, Tatweer Baladna equips individuals with the knowledge, mindset, and practical abilities to thrive in the digital and green economy and supports resilient, future-ready communities across Lebanon.

2. Project Overview

DigitalLife4All – An Adult & Lifelong Learning Initiative to Enhance the Digital Skills & Smart Competencies of Seniors, Older Adults, People with Disabilities & Persons in Vulnerable Social Groups in the Mediterranean Sea Basin

Programme: Interreg NEXT MED, co-funded by the European Union
Project Duration: 30 months (August 2025 – January 2028)
Lead Partner: Regional Development Fund of East Macedonia & Thrace (Greece)

DigitalLife4All promotes inclusive digital transformation across the Mediterranean through Digital Skills Hubs and DigiOnTheGo units. The project supports seniors, persons with disabilities, and vulnerable groups in developing digital and lifelong learning skills and improving participation in the digital society and economy.

5. Objective of the Assignment

The RET Research Assistant (Research, Evaluation, and Technical Support) will support Tatweer Baladna in delivering research and evidence-based project outputs under DigitalLife4All.

The main objectives are to:

5.1 Support needs analysis and baseline research related to digital skills and inclusion.
5.2 Contribute to stakeholder mapping and analytical outputs.
5.3 Provide research inputs to training framework and curriculum development (WP3 and related WPs).
5.4 Support monitoring evidence, data organization, and lessons learned documentation.
5.5 Contribute to policy and capitalization research outputs.

6. Scope of Work

The selected RET Research Assistant will support research, analytical, and technical tasks as defined in the full ToR, including desk research, data collection and synthesis, analytical reporting inputs, stakeholder and needs analysis support, and contributions to training, policy, and capitalization deliverables across relevant Work Packages.
