Teach For Lebanon (NGO) is pleased to announce a tender for group medical and life insurance for TFL Staff, dependents, and Fellows. The insurance coverage is from October1,2025, to September 30, 2026.

Teach for Lebanon (TFL) is a Lebanese NGO committed to ensuring that every child in Lebanon, irrespective of their socioeconomic background, has access to quality education. TFL employs an innovative approach that emphasizes youth capacity building to implement impactful educational interventions and provide systemic support for students in need.

Therefore, TFL recruits and trains Lebanon’s most promising fresh graduates, known as "TFL Fellows," and places them in schools serving economically disadvantaged refugees and Lebanese children. These fellows receive ongoing training and support to address educational challenges through transformational teaching, guiding their students toward academic success. Throughout their journey, they evolve into leaders and advocates for a brighter future in Lebanon.

Teach for Lebanon is an independent local NGO and part of Teach for All, a global network spanning 62 countries dedicated to educational equality.

Questions to Be Addressed

1. What are the limits for any one occurrence/accident? Please elaborate.

2. Please share with us the list of all your partner hospitals.

3. In case one of the staff is injured, what is the process? Please explain the steps required to enter the hospital and until recovery.

4. In case of “out” services, is preapproval mandatory? Please explain the steps.

5. Is there a hotline or contact person for each region in Lebanon?

6. Teach For Lebanon's method of payment is through a fresh account bank transfer. Do you have a fresh USD bank account if we accept your quotation? Please state the name of the bank you work with.

7. What is the preferred schedule of payment?

8. Do currently pregnant members benefit from maternity coverage under the policy?

9. Does your offer include travel insurance? If yes, is it included in the premium or charged separately, and if so, at what cost?

Quotation Requirements

- A quotation that clearly includes the prices for “In”
- A separate quotation for “Out”
- A quotation combining both In and Out insurance
- A separate quotation for “Life”

Kindly send quotations for both scenarios below (quoting each sheet separately):

Scenario 1 (Sheet 1):
- Staff: Class B
- Fellows: Class SP

Scenario 2 (Sheet 2):
- Staff: Class B
- Fellows: Class B

Coverage Requirements

- All policies must include In-Patient (IN) and Out-Patient (OUT) coverage.
- For OUT coverage, please provide two options for each scenario: OUT 100% and OUT 85%.

Pricing format (preferred):
A summary table per provider showing pricing for all relevant classes (Class A, Class B, Class SP, OUT 85%, OUT 100%) by age range.

Continuity & Underwriting

Please note that we place high importance on the continuity of coverage.
No underwriting will be applied to pre-existing conditions.

Quotation Must Include

- Official offers in the proper header and footer format
- Contact information of your company
- MOF and TX ID numbers of your company
- Offer validity period
- The company legal papers: Commercial Circular,  MOF number…
-  All Insurance companies are required to sign both the Call for Tender document and the Teach For Lebanon RFQ requirement document and include them in their submission.
