CP PSS Facilitator - Bekaa

Terre des hommes - Lausanne is seeking a qualified CP PSS Facilitator based in Bekaa (Baalbek and Hermel districts).

 

Job Purpose / Main Functions:

The CP PSS Facilitator possesses the knowledge and practical skills to deliver psychosocial support activities for children at high risk of vulnerability and positive parenting acrtivites for caregivers. PSS activities will be implemented in accordance with organizational and interagency guidelines. This role aims to strengthen the resilience of the most vulnerable and conflict-affected children, youth and caregivers through psychosocial support and positive parenting interventions. The PSS Facilitator carries out activities in a way that promotes the well-being of children, youth and caregivers and creates a meaningful, positive impact on their lives.

 

The aims of the position are to:

• Develop and implement age-appropriate psychosocial activities for children, youth, and caregivers.

• Strengthen and enhance the resilience and well-being of children and caregivers at risk.

• Ensure that all beneficiaries participate in activities that are non-discriminatory, and age- and gender-appropriate.

• Provide parents and caregivers with regular feedback on their child’s participation in sessions.

• Collaborate closely with CP team members to design interventions, develop plans, and conduct follow-ups.

• Ensure that children, youth, and caregivers always feel safe, comfortable, and respected.
