CP.GBV FPSS Facilitator

Terre des hommes - Lausanne is seeking a qualified CP.GBV FPSS Facilitator based in Beirut for one of its projects.

Job Purpose / Main Functions:

The focused Psychosocial Support activities Facilitator has the knowledge and practical skills to carry out focused psychosocial support activities with street-connected children at high risk of vulnerability. As well as GBV cases that are street connected children with additional GBV risk.

Focused PSS activities will be carried out in line with individual organization and interagency

guidelines. The intention of this position is to build the resilience of the most vulnerable street-connected children and youth through psychosocial support activities. The FPSS facilitator implements the activities in a manner that leaves a considerable positive impact on children and youth and promotes their well-being.

Aims of the position are to:

• Develop and implement age-appropriate psychosocial activities for street-connected children and youth.

• Strengthening and improving the resilience and well-being of street-connected children at risk.

• Strengthening and imporving the resilience and wellbeing of the adolescent girls and women at risk

• Ensure that all beneficiaries participate in activities that are non-discriminatory as well as age and gender sensitive and appropriate.

• Ensure that parents and caregivers receive frequent feedback about their child’s participation during the sessions.

• Work directly with CP and GBV team members in order to develop interventions, plans and follow-up.

• Ensure that the the adolescent girls and women feel safe, comfortable and respected all the time,

• Monitor and supervise the volunteer team to plan, implement and organize the sessions.

• Ensure that the street-connected children/youth feel safe, comfortable and respected all the time,
