Driver/ Log Assitant

  Tdh is looking for a logistics assistant/Driver to support the programs. Under the supervision of the logistics manager, the driver position includes the main duties and responsibilities as follows: Child Protection Policy: -     Commit to respect the Tdh Child Protection Policy and principles of child protection. -     Commit to ensure the best implementation possible of the Tdh Child Protection Policy inLebanon. -     Commit to inform supervisors and to deal with any cases, allegations, or possibility of transgression, even potential, of the Tdh Child Protection Policy.   Main duties and responsibilities: General: -       Support the Logistics Manager in the procurement process in line with Tdh procedures -       Support the Logistics Manager in the monitoring and maintaining of the fleet -       Support the Logistics Manager in the maintenance of Tdh premises and office equipment -       Responsible of driving Tdh staff members as requested   Specific duties and responsibilities: 1. LOGISTICS PROCEDURES 1.1 Support the Logistics Manager in ensuring that the procedures are communicated to, and respected by the staff, supporting in the training of staff as required in link with the Training Department 1.2 Support the Logistics Manager in ensuring the proper filing of the logistics documents 1.3 Participate, as appropriate, in the implementation of the anti-theft, fraud, corruption policy.   2. PROCUREMENT 2.1 Support the Logistics Manager as required throughout the procurement process, which will involve delivering quotations, negotiating with suppliers and validating criteria for agreed prices and suppliers list 2.2 Responsible for checking, completing and filing of all logistical forms according to Tdh procurement procedures 3. FLEET MANAGEMENT 3.1 Monitor the use of the vehicles and ensure they are used for work and security purposes only 3.2 Maintain active network of transport sources 3.3 Responsible for driving staff members as requested and approved by Logistics Manager 3.4 Responsible for carrying out daily fuel, water, oil and paperwork checks on all Tdh vehicles, owned and rented   4. PREMISES MANAGEMENT 4.1 Support in overseeing the maintenance of all Tdh premises (offices, sites offices, stocks/warehouses, guesthouses) 4.2 Support the Logistics Manager in ensuring that the premises are safe, secure and in functioning conditions (including repairs…) and regularly inspected. 5. SECURITY 5.1 Adheres to TdhLebanonsecurity plan 5.2 Participates in on-going monitoring of the security situation 5.3 Participates according to the responsibilities defined in the security plan in the general security management of the delegation and ensures that the tasks under his responsibility are done 5.4 Support the Logistics Manager in providing requested support to security focal point in terms of planning, preparation and implementation of security plan   The driver will support in the following matters as needed: - stock management - assets management   Non-Violent Communication: -       Adhere to the principles of the NVC process while in communication with all project actors, including colleagues. -       Ensure that conflict is addressed with the principles and process of NVC with all project actors and colleagues.   Project Neutrality: -       Ensures that Tdh’s project actions or activities are non biased, neutral and inclusive of all actors present. -       Reports any breaches of neutrality, even if perceived but not true, to the Delegate -       Promotes and ensures that all actors, regardless of political or non-political affiliations, are aware of Tdh’s project’s neutrality and activities with all actors in the context Experience required:  2 to 3 years   Education degree: Technical Degree Field of education: Technical degree related to logistics LANGUAGES Arabic: Fluent English: Very Good French:
