Terre des hommes- Foundation (Lausanne) is seeking a qualified Female Gender Based-Violence (GBV) PSS Facilitator based in Zahle Area or surroundings for one of its Emergency projects in the Bekaa region.

 

Within the project framework, the psychosocial Support (PSS) Facilitator has the knowledge and practical skills to carry out psychosocial and recreational support GBV activities with girls, women, children and youth at high risk of vulnerability in Female Safe Space/Female Friendly Space. The PSS activities will be carried out in line with individual organization and interagency guidelines. The intention of this position is to build the resilience of most vulnerable girls, women, children and youth through psychosocial support activities and raise their awareness regarding CP/GBV concerns. The PSS facilitator implements the activities in a manner that leaves considerable positive impact on children and youth and promote their wellbeing

Aim of position:

• Develop and implement age and gender appropriate psychosocial and recreational activities for girls, women, children and youth.

• Strengthen and imporve the resilience and wellbeing of girls, women, and children at risk.

• Ensure that parents and caregivers receive frequent feedback about their child’s participation during the sessions.

• Work directly with partner and GBV team members in order to develop intervention, plans and follow up.

• Ensure that the girls, women, children/youth feel safe, comfortable and respected all the time.
