Project Manager

Terre des hommes Foundation (Lausanne) has begun a project entitled “The protection of Dom children in Southern Lebanon”. The project is in need of one Project Manager who will supervise the implementation of the project in Dom (Gypsy) gatherings. The Project Manager will sign and adhere to Tdh’s Child protection policy. The Project manager is -       Responsible for the operational management of the child protection project under the direct supervision of the Operations Coordinator, including coordination with the logistics and administration department and the training department. -       Responsible for the management, recruitment, supervision, support, training and performance appraisal of the 3 project staff -       Responsible to represent Tdh professionally while carrying out his/her duties and liaise with relevant partners and stakeholders. -       Responsible for the achievement of the objectives of the project using PCM approach and participatory approaches. The project includes case management and training / awareness sessions. -       Ensures, promotes and facilitates that the principles of child protection and child participation are integrated into all project activities and communication with project staff, children and communities targeted by the project. -       Ensures a strict adherence to Tdh Child Protection Policy at all times, including respect for confidentiality and child centred approach, acts in the best interests of the child.
