The PM will manage an emergency project for people displaced from Syria to Tyre.
- Responsible for the operational management of the child protection project under the direct supervision of the Deputy Delegate, including coordination with the logistics and administration department and the training department.
- - Responsible for the achievement of the objectives of the project using PCM approach and participatory approaches. The project includes relief items distribution, social work and recreational activities
- Responsible for the management, recruitment, supervision, support, training and performance appraisal of the 6 project staff
- Responsible to represent Tdh professionally while carrying out his/her duties and liaise with relevant partners and stakeholders.
- Ensures, promotes and facilitates that the principles of child protection and child participation are integrated into all project activities and communication with project staff, children and communities targeted by the project.
- Ensures a strict adherence to Tdh Child Protection Policy at all times, including respect for confidentiality and child centred approach, acts in the best interests of the child.
Requirements: Experience in project management and PCM, Staff management skills, Social work / child protection / emergency experience and background, Very good knowledge of development/humanitarian actors in Palestinian and Lebanese contexts, Strong networking capacities, Driving license, Computer and communication skills
