Terre des hommes - Lausanne is seeking a qualified Senior Lawyer - Part time on Consultancy basis based in Tyre area or Surroundings.
Job Purpose / Main Functions:
The Senior Lawyer is responsible for providing Legal expertise and leadership in the legal field, particularly in Housing, Land, and Property (HLP) rights for conflict-affected individuals. The role includes:
- Legal counselling, representation, and assistance to beneficiaries facing shelter-related legal concerns.
- Legal awareness sessions on tenant/landlord rights and housing documentation.
- Support for lost documentation cases related to civil status, residency, and property ownership.
The Senior Lawyer will also coordinate with humanitarian actors, local authorities, and legal aid networks to facilitate access to justice for vulnerable individuals.
