Community Facilitator

Duties & Responsibilities: 

• To support the Community Volunteers in the implementation of the CP activities;
• To write periodical reports on the activities
• To maintain regular contacts with the local stakeholder, with a specific focus on Syrian Community residing in the area, Lebanese local Community and Local Authority.
• To conduct Community Outreach activities (home visits, assessments, focus group, community meetings, awareness sessions).
• To support in the organization of the Community Committees;
• To support in the preparation of special events, recreational, cultural and sport activities together with project staff.
• To participate in coaching and training sessions.
• To participate in the preparation, execution and organization of awareness sessions, if needed.
• To perform all organizational and administrative work related to outreach team, including reimbursements for Community Volunteers and regular reporting to the Team leaders working in the CC/SDCs closed to their areas covered by the outreach activities;
• To assess the needs of beneficiaries and to contribute to identify and refer – internally and externally, children at risk;
• To plan and request the material needed for the activities 
• Keep a database of stakeholders and local partners;
• To comply with the TDH IT Code of Conduct and Visibility standards.

Qualifications and experience:

• 6 months minimum work experience in similar position;
• Child Protection knowledge and understanding;
• Ability to work well in a team, under pressure and in response to changing needs.
• Experience in and knowledge of the Syrian situation and response is considered a strong asset;
• Excellent communication skills;
• Advocacy and negotiation skills;
• Commitment to the aims, principles 
• Valid Driving License
