Community Facilitator

Specific responsibilities:

  • To coordinate together with the CE Officer the implementation of outreach activities in each of the areas covered by the project through community volunteers, supervising and supporting them;
  • To support the Community volunteers in the implementation of the CP activities;
  • To write periodical reports on the activities to the Community Empowerment Officer;
  • To maintain regular contacts with the local stakeholder, with a specific focus on Syrian Community residing in the area, Lebanese local Community and Local Authority.
  • To conduct Community Outreach activities (home visits, assessments, focus group, community meetings, awareness sessions).
  • To support the CE Officer in the organization of the Community Committees;
  • To support in the preparation of special events, recreational, cultural and sport activities together with project staff.
  • To participate in coaching and training sessions.
  • To participate in the preparation, execution and organization of awareness sessions, if needed.
  • To perform all organizational and administrative work related to outreach team, including reimbursements for Community Volunteers and regular reporting to the Community Empowerment officer and/or Team leaders working in the CC/SDCs closed to their areas covered by the outreach activities;
  • To assess the needs of beneficiaries and to contribute to identify and refer – internally and externally, children at risk;
  • To plan and request the material needed for the activities of the Community Empowerment team;
  • Keep a database of stakeholders and local partners;
  • To comply with the TDH IT Code of Conduct and Visibility standards;
  • Other duties as assigned by the Project Manager;
