Community Facilitator

Major Responsibilities: To coordinate the implementation of outreach activities in each of the areas covered by the project through volunteers, supervising them and doing periodical reports on the activity. To maintain regular contacts with the local stakeholder, with a specific focus on Syrian Community residing in the area, Lebanese local Community and Local Authority. To conduct Community Outreach activities (home visits, focus group, community meetings). To support in the preparation of special events, recreational, cultural and sport activities together with project staff. To participate in coaching and training sessions. To participate in the preparation, execution and organization of Awareness sessions. To perform all organizational and administrative work related to outreach team, including regular reporting to the Community Empowerment officer or Project Manager To assess the needs of beneficiaries and to contribute to the establishment of a referral system. To maintaining regular contacts with the referral organizations and other stakeholders, to feed back the referral system. To report any kind of abuse. To plan and request the material needed for the activities of the community Empowerment team Keep a database of stakeholders and local partners To comply with the TDH-It Code of Conduct Any other task relevant to the position.  Key Working Relationships:  Position Reports to:  CM supervisor-CM specialist Technical reference/Indirect Reporting:  Project Manager Collaborates with: PSS team and Case workers Other Internal and/or external contacts: community empowerment officer Internal: other members of TDH IT programs in the field   External: local partner –Other NGOs/INGOs  Qualifications and experience 1 year minimum work experience in similar position Ability to work well in a team, under pressure and in response to changing needs. Experience in and knowledge of the Syrian situation and response is considered a strong asset. Experience in building capacity of teams and staff. Commitment to the aims, principles and values of TDH IT. Ability to plan well, set own targets and meet them. Valid Driving license
