Education Assistant (Ea/nbekaa/unhcr)

Education Assistant   Within the framework of the initiatives promoted in the Bekaa Governorate in support of people affected by the Syrian crisis and funded by UNHCR, TdH – It is looking for six Education Assistants to join the team in order to support the project activities carried out.    Main duties and responsibilities Perform outreach activities in each of the areas covered by the project Participate in assessment of needs, focus group discussions, awareness and information activities Collect data and fill assessment forms Ensure proper documentation of data collected (hard and soft copies) Attend regular meetings with Education Coordinators, Education Officers and Child Protection & Community Outreach Officer to share lessons learned and exchange experiences Monitor protection risks and needs and identifying Protection cases Share information on field-level successes and challenges with the project team Any other duties relating to the nature of the job as directed by the Project Officer   Qualifications, experience and competencies   -          At least one year of experience working in child centred programming in the region -          Capacity to work in team and flexibility to take on new tasks. -          Strong social and communication skills -          Knowledge of child protection standards -          Fluency in Arabic mandatory and conversation and written English an advantage -          Experience in working in NGO preferable -          Driving license preferable   Conditions Full time job of 40 hours per week, distributed in five days according the needs of the program.
