Finance Assistant

Major Responsibilities: Daily accounting (bookkeeping) according to TDH IT financial guidelines Prepare and submit monthly ledgers to the Finance Officer Manage office petty cash and prepare regular cash counts (daily, weekly and monthly) Follow up on all the advances given to TDH IT staff and ensure the accuracy of advances closure. Maintain proper filing of all financial documents (vouchers, contracts, etc.) Prepare and finalize the monthly vouchers to be ready for scanning. Manage the leave tracker and follow up on staff time sheets/ leaves Assist the Finance Officer with the different tasks concerning the recruitment of new staff and their registration in NSSF and/or medical insurance. Qualification and Experience:  Degree/certificate in Accounting/Finance or related field. Minimum two years of experience with humanitarian organizations in relevant position. Key Working Relationships: Position Reports to:  Finance Officer Indirect Reporting: Regional Administrator and Head of Office  Job Requirements: Demonstrated Skills and Competencies:  Personal qualities: Excellent interpersonal and team skills. Accountability and problem solving oriented. Others:  Fluency in written and spoken Arabic and Good level of English. Excellent IT skills. Valid Lebanese driving license is desirable.  Working Environment:  Experience required: Minimum 2 years in relevant field of work. Language/s: English and Arabic
