Objective 1: Responsible of the Project implementation within the area or work by:
- In charge of all partnership management aspect of the project on behalf of TDH IT, the project coordinator will lead the successful implementation of the project in collaboration with a local women rights organization.
- Ensures the partner is provided with technical assistance and continuous capacity building to successfully plan and implement the activities in line with TDH IT and consortium quality standards.
- Maintain regular communication and visits for project sites to ensure that the project achieves the goal
- Work together with the partner and the consortium to develop and implement effective advocacy strategies related to girls and women’s rights.
- In coordination with MEAL, ensures partner’s teams are trained in the use of monitoring tools and systems;
- Monitors the quality of the project’s activities by defining methodological standards, in cooperation with the Partner and the She Leads Country network;
- Verifies and validates partner data is accurately collected and verified;
- Sets up technical evaluation exercises during and following implementation;
- Supports partner’s financial and logistics processes, including procurement and distribution supplies and services for the timely delivery of project objectives.
- Liaises with TDH IT departments (technical team, finance, procurement & log, communication, MEAL, CP) to support the successful implementation of the project and support the Partner in the successful implementation of the activities, respecting TDH and Donor Compliance.
- Supervise Partner’s field assessments, including vulnerability needs assessments, and activities implementation.
- Takes part of the recruitment of partner’s team members when required;
- Organizes regular project meeting with the partner;
- Identifies, informs and discusses any implementation issues with the Head of Programme in a timely manner.
Objective 2: Coordination and external representation
- In collaboration with the consortium and the partner, conduct mappings of existing girl and women led groups and initiatives in Lebanon.
- Participates in coordination meetings with national and international institutions and consortium network, including with child rights organizations, feminist/women’s rights organizations and GYW-led groups.
- Keeps appropriate working relationships with relevant project stakeholders including Ministry representatives, Municipality leaders, School Officials and Community Centers. Keep stakeholders informed of TDH’s work and involve them in project design and evaluation.
- Liaises with other agencies/NGOs/government bodies/donors to ensure coordination, implementation of common standards in the field and consideration of protection issues in assistance programs.
- Support during donor field visits and project communication events, as required.Organise and facilitate, with the partner organisations, participatory sessions with children so that they can voice their opinion on programme activities
Objective 3: Gender mainstreaming
- Works together with TDH IT teams to enhance TDH IT’s gender mainstreaming capacity and gender-sensitive programming and advocacy, whenever needed.
- Work with CP to ensure that safeguarding and gender mainstreaming is established and coordinated
- Work with Inclusion Officer to ensure inclusion of children with disabilities within the programme, and ensuring cross-cutting issues between gender and disability are taken into account
Objective 4: Report, Capitalization & Communication
- Effective Reporting of the Project: Works with TDH IT’s Head of Programme, CP Specialist, MEAL Manager and Country Director, to ensure timely inputs into donor reports (financial and narrative) and contribute with case studies and stories from the field;
- Work with communications and advocacy to develop age appropriate language and child-friendly materials to inform children about the project’s goals and activities
- Contribute to documentation of technical/program approaches, lessons learned, and success stories
Objective 5: Monitoring and evaluation accountability and learning (MEAL)
- In collaboration with MEAL, ensures monitoring and evaluation plans are understood by partner’s field teams and collected in a timely manner
- Work with MEAL to ensure feedback mechanisms are in place to track progress ensuring high quality MEAL and accountability to beneficiaries in all education activities and enable continuous feedback opportunities for children
- Follows up and assist MEAL staff on the Monitoring of compliance of the staff with TDH IT Policy and revise reports of any breaches to relevant management;
Diploma, Education Level & Minimum Experience
Bachelor degree (master’s degree is an asset) in social work, psychology, sociology, Human Rights or any other related field
• Minimum 2 years of experience working in a humanitarian context
• Minimum 2 years of experience working in project coordination, management
• Experience in Gender/GBV programming
• Experience in networking with CSOs, CBOs, and relevant governmental institutions
Required Knowledge & Competencies.
Fluent in both Arabic and English (speaking and writing)
Driving License.
Strong experience (at least 2 years) in Gender Mainstreaming and Gender Programming
Experience in capacity building and partnership management
Experience advocating for girls and women’s rights
Prior experience in coordination and/or management
Experience in gender analysis of quantitative and qualitative data
