MEAL Officer

Objective 1: Maintains and constantly develops MEAL tools and indicators.

Objective 2: Actively supports the data collection in the field and coordinates with the field staff, in order to ensure that the data collection is performed on timely manner and in line with the related Guidelines and Plans.

• Trains field, project and partner staff on data collection through the defined MEAL tools;
• Conducts regular field visits and spot-checks in order to closely monitor the progress of the activities and the achievement of the results.

Objective 3: Performs data quality checking and data analysis on regular basis.

Objective 4: Conducts Focus Group Discussions and interviews targeting field staff and direct/indirect beneficiaries to assess the outputs and outcomes of the implemented activities.

Objective 5: Regularly attends meetings with the MEAL and project teams and coordinates across different Department and component to ensure an effective MEAL implementation.

Objective 6: Report, Capitalization & Communication.

• Provides relevant timely updates (reports) against the projects Logical Framework, sectorial indicators (including Activity Info) and according to the donors rules;
• Support audits and external evaluation exercises.

And any other duties seemed relevant to the position and assigned by your manager.
